Cricket
Cholsey Cricket Club are a friendly village cricket club in South Oxfordshire. They play midweek T20 fixtures in the South Oxfordshire Friendly Cricket League and friendly fixtures on Sundays and other midweek evenings. The Cricket Pavilion is within the Cholsey Meadows development. They are always open to new members, playing or not, and have a number of social events through the year, running a Members Bar, BBQ and Youth Coaching evenings through the summer along with an annual “Party on the Pitch” event. The Bar is open for all home matches so spectators are welcomed but the quality of the cricket can’t be guaranteed!

Play Area
There is a fenced off Play Area for the Under 12s just alongside the Cricket Pavilion, and this area with its swings and climbing equipment is managed by the Parish Council. If you have any comments or concerns about the Play Area, please contact the Parish Council here.
The Great Hall
We have a magnificent area for entertainment and communal activities – The Great Hall. In former days when the Fairmile Building was a hospital, The Great Hall was a vibrant hub of activities for patients and staff and today we also encourage its use for as many activities as possible. Classes are run from here, concerts and private functions and all kinds of communal activities, which make full use of the stage, sprung wooden floor, kitchens, and the office where the administration of parts of the estate are situated. To find out more about classes and other activities, please click here.
Allotments
The allotments are at the bottom of the development, and these are run by the Parish Council so please do contact them if you’d like to know more about having an allotment yourself. It is an amazing area to see with all its diversity, and all facilities are there for avid gardeners, or just those who want “somewhere to sit” on sunny days.
