How are Board decisions made?

The Board assesses issues and recommendations on the basis of facts, analysis and evidence as far as possible. Decisions are ideally approved unanimously by consensus but by majority vote of Directors if necessary.

There is no requirement to consult with or have a vote by members in reaching a decision and it would be impractical to do so on every matter that the Board has to manage.

However, we recognise that it is wise/good practice to do so for major decisions and will put in place appropriate procedures from time to time.
